MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

"We are once again pleased to tell you about the Chester C. Wynne Memorial Scholarship Program.   For those of you who did not know Chet, he had a strong belief in the value of education.  He himself had to leave school at a very early age to help support his Mother and three sisters.  However, he educated himself by reading, traveling and observing.  He strongly supported the value of education as the primary way that people could enrich their lives and those of their families.

In honor of his beliefs, we are funding a Scholarship Program again this year.   There will be thirteen (13) annual scholarships at $1,500 each.  Those eligible to apply are: Employees of Wynne Building Corporation: Residents of Spanish Lakes Communities: Children and Grandchildren of the eligible to apply.

To be eligible, the candidate must fill out an application and be enrolled in an accredited College or University.  The Scholarships may be applied for between January `1st and March 31st.    Decisions regarding the awarding of Scholarships will be made by our own committee.
