CHESTER C WYNNE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
We are once again pleased to tell you about the Chester C. Wynne Memorial Scholarship Program.
For those of you who did not know Chet, he had a strong belief in the value of education.  He himself had to leave school at a very early age to help support his Mother and three sisters.  However, he educated himself by reading, traveling and observing.  He strongly supported the value of education as the primary way that people could enrich their lives and those of their families.
In honor of his beliefs, we are funding a Scholarship Program again this year.   There will be thirteen (13) annual scholarships at $1,500 each.  Those eligible to apply are: Employees of Wynne Building Corporation:
Residents of Spanish Lakes Communities: Children and Grandchildren of the eligible to apply.
To be eligible, the candidate must fill out an application and be enrolled in an accredited College or University.  The Scholarships may be applied for between January `1st and March 31st.
Decisions regarding the awarding of Scholarships will be made by our own committee.

THE PLOT
A recent memo from the County now requires homeowners to secure a building permit for all aluminum structures, whether they are being repaired or new.  Included with each permit application, the County will want to see a layout.  In order to help you get thru the permitting process as quickly as possible, the County has asked us to review this layout i.e. "PLOT PLAN", showing where the work is being done and sign the PLOT PLAN indication that we have approved your request.  Two copies of a simple sketch, drawn to scale (1/8" = 1 foot is usually appropriate), should be submitted to your Community Manager, who will then review this PLOT PLAN.  We will make every effort to review your submittal, including an onsite visit, so that the PLOT PLAN will be available for you to pick up in approximately 3 to 5 business days.  These approved sketches will speed up your permitting process.
